About EVCC
Environmental Control Corporation (EVCC) is a developer of emission control devices for Spark Ignition (SI) engines. The company has developed a catalytic muffler that is more effective in reducing harmful gas emissions than any other technology currently available. The catalytic muffler technology is linearly designed, and can be modified to fit virtually any fossil-fuel combustion engine.
The Mission of EVCC is to provide Original Engine Manufacturers and ultimately the end-consumer with affordable solutions to minimize the impact that engines have on both our health and the environment, and in doing so, provide EVCC stakeholders the opportunity to realize a significant return on investment.
Environmental Control Corporation was incorporated in 1999 under the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador, and became a publicly traded company in March, 2006 under the NASD OTCBB stock exchange (stock symbol: EVCC).
The current geographic focus of the company is on the North American market, primarily concentrating on the US. However, after gaining a foothold within this market, it is expected that EVCC will quickly proceed into foreign markets such as Europe, Asia and South America. These markets house great market potential, as they suffer from enormous amounts of fossil fuel emissions.
EVCC's catalytic muffler is a relatively inexpensive solution to dramatically reduce the hazardous emission levels of spark-ignition engines. Engine applications within this spectrum include, but are not limited to, the following: lawn mowers, lawn tractors, chainsaws, fire pumps, hand-held blowers, backpack blowers, trimmers, mopeds, scooters, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and personal water crafts.

For this specific application, as with the majority of two stroke engines, exhaust tuning is required to help achieve maximum combustion, cooling and performance. Therefore, an expansion chamber is used in conjunction with the muffler for this application.
