EVCC has a team of highly motivated, talented and passionate individuals who share the vision of effectively reducing harmful gas emissions in our environment. Below is a brief description of our management team.

Albert E. Hickman- President, Chief Executive Officer

Albert E. Hickman is Chairman of Hickman Motors Limited, an automotive retailer. He is also the Chairman of the Hickman Group of Companies with diversified activities in Newfoundland, including: Hickman Leasing Limited, Hickman Saturn SAAB, Budget Rent-A-Car, and Body Works Limited.

Mr. Hickman has just recently retired from the Board of Directors of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, where he served as Director for 16 years. He has also served on the Boards of Fishery Products International (as Lead Director), Newtel Enterprises, and Aliant Inc. Also, he has served on many national committees and advisory boards associated with the automotive industry. Currently, Mr. Hickman's directorships include: Buchans River Ltd. and Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Ltd.

Mr. Hickman also has a distinguished record of service with charitable organizations including the Board of Governors of Junior Achievement of Canada and as a Patron of Laubach Literacy of Canada. As well, in the local community, he served as Campaign Chairman for the Newfoundland March of Dimes and as Chairman of the Construction Board for the YM/YWCA.

Gary Bishop- Chief Financial Officer

Gary Bishop is presently Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer with the Hickman Group of Companies based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Mr. Bishop joined the Hickman Group in 1985 and progressed through a number of increasingly senior financial positions assuming his current position in January of 2002. Mr. Bishop is a Chartered Accountant and graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Business Administration degree.

He has served as a Director of a number of private corporations as well as Chairman of the Board of The Credit Bureau of St. John's Limited.

Nils Rodeblad - Vice President, Business Development (Europe, Asia)

Nils Rodeblad has acted as the owner/operator of N.B.R. Consulting LTD in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador for the past 25 years. Mr. Rodeblad has significant consulting experiences worldwide, including over 15 years of full-time consulting work for Hickman Group of Companies in Newfoundland and Labrador, and consulting projects for various transportation companies in Sweden. Mr. Rodeblad was also owner of a speed-shop in Sweden from 1966-1975.

Bert Hickman- Vice President, Business Development (North America)

Bert Hickman is President of Hickman Automotive Group. The Group includes: five Hickman Motors locations in St. John's, Gander, Clarenville, Burin and Carbonear (these are all General Motors Franchises representing Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Hummer); Hickman Saturn Saab; Hickman Motors Truck Center (representing General Motors Medium Duty Trucks and Volvo Heavy Duty Trucks); Terra Rent A Car (with 17 locations in Newfoundland and Labrador, a Budget Rent-A-Car franchise); and, BodyWorks, an independent Auto Body repair facility.

In 2000, he moved to Hickman Motors head office on Kenmount Road, as Vice President. In October 2005, Bert took operational control as President of the Hickman Automotive Group.

Currently, Bert serves as President on two Marketing Boards for General Motors Dealers in Newfoundland. He has also served on other Dealer / Manufacturer Relations Boards for both General Motors and Saturn.

Bert's record of service includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau (BBB); Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers; and is an active Rotarian in the Rotary Club of St. John's East. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation. Also, Bert is Past-President of the St. John's Automobile Dealers Association.

Michael Mugford- Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Michael Mugford has several years of sales experience with Xerox Corporation, and has held several executive positions with publicly traded companies in the past. In 2003, Mr. Mugford founded MJM Enterprises Inc., a multimillion dollar international business practice, where he currently serves as Director of the company. Mr. Mugford will provide a wealth of knowledge from his experience in the corporate world.

Glenn Knight- Chief Scientific Officer

Glenn Knight is an exhaust system specialist with over 30 years experience in muffler and exhaust related industries. He has worked for a wide variety of organizations, including: Wonder Muffler (Manager/Exhaust System Designer), The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.) (Satellite Tracking Technician/ Data Recorder), Knight's ESSO (Exhaust System Specialist), Clean Air Technologies (President and Inventor). Mr. Knight was the owner/operator of Glenn's Muffler Shop in Pouch Cove, NL for 14 years.

Mr. Knight invented the first useful catalytic muffler to be used in North America in 1988, and he currently holds several patented and patent pending technologies that are compatible and effective on machinery used worldwide. Mr. Knight, along with Mr. Rodeblad, is a Co-Inventor of EVCC's patented catalytic muffler technology.
